In the end you find out the god queen Marika is also her consort Radagon in some weird duality thing and a lot of the insanity of the game comes down to the shenanigans they got up to and then provoked. Both married other people and had kids before leaving them to marry each other and have abomination incest kids. The Olympians pantheon would think they had issues. The pic series is from Radagon point of view.
