Israel's Apartheid

See, I agree on some of the stuff Israel pulls being crap, like this, but openly expressing these views is the sort of thing that can get one accused of being antisemitic for not supporting Israel.

This is just going to cause alienation between Israel's ethnic groups.

The IDF, meanwhile, has moved on from their campaign on kites and has been talking about the critical thread posed by balloons.

... this bullshit again. May I remind you guys that the Palestinians have spat in the hand of any peace deal and almost every organization with any considerable power has only waged war against the Israelis.

The PLO spat in the hand of the Camp David Accords despite the Israelis doing their part of the deal (from what I've heard, the IDF had worked to force out settlers back then, but at times were responded with bullets...). Every deal that has been made has been broken, and the Palestinians have continuously broken any rule of war -hospitals, apartment complexes, and other protected places have been used as launching sites, bases for military operations, among others- that has been written. AP news footage has shown Palestinian fighters using ambulances as APCs...

Nothing that Israel does can be considered in good faith that does not include unilateral obedience to all UN directives, including full withdrawal of all troops from all territories taken in Hostilities

Actually, it isn't. If Israel was replaced by any other country, Palestine would be flattened numerous times over if not a genocide-in-progress. For the most part Israel wants to have a 'live and let live policy' but Palestinian leadership only wants to do what their arab backers want them to do, i.e. push Israel into the sea. I.e. Genocide.

... here's the thing, every time they do so means that they'll start the bombings, hijackings, and other terrorist actions. Remember when Israel pulled out of the Gaza strip (and, unsurprisingly left rather profitable infrastructure as a 'here's something to get on your feet' gift), not only did the Palestinians destroy the greenhouses that were specifically left to help them run legit money but also started shooting rockets out of hospitals and other protected places, created attack tunnels with infrastructure resources, paid for terrorist acts, among other things.

It also doesn't help that the various Arab states have far more power than Israel has thanks to the oil they extract.

Israel's policy has been of containment, not genocide. If there was a genocide-in-progress (which there isn't), then why is the Palestinian population growing?

Operation Protective Edge occurred because people who were too extreme for Hamas and were kicked out kidnapped some Israeli kids and murdered them, knowing this already through their intelligence services Israel still ordered Hamas to turn over the kidnapped Israelis alive which they knew was impossible. Prior to and during this Israel was busy conducting strikes on Hamas security and police services who were attempting to stop just those kinds of things and stop third parties from launching rockets. You're either lying or you're ignorant, because this is not a live and let live policy.

Israel's created a giant prison camp that it deliberately chokes resource access to and regularly attacks. As for population growth, poverty striken regions will often have growth they can't handle due to various factors (lack of contraceptives, etc). The goal is still ultimately the subjugation and eradication of Palestinians.

The same western democracies that are routinely drowning refugees in the mediterranean and enable honest to god slave markets in Libya while pretending that a Beethoven recital makes it all better? The same western democracies that decided to publicly humiliate greece and plunge it into the abyss?
 
To be fair, as a colonial state with an ethnic caste system engaged in a constant genocidal conflict with its indigenous populace, Israel DOES meet American standards.

I didn't say they were perfect but those aren't being done on their own people.

Considering how Western Europe got rich of enslaving and plundering the planet for 500 years, then pretends for the next 70 that beethoven recitals and nice words on paper makes it all better because they are tolerant now. At least until a few refugees come along.

I am just pointing out the pure and utter hypocrisy of it all. Not least because for all the talk of "why can't Israel be like Western democracies?", there's a dirty little secret. After WW2, large scale ethnic cleansing happened all across Europe, especially in the Sudetenland, to specifically prevent the sort of crisis that happened there turning into a nuclear armageddon.
