yes fuck those guysAnybody else ever considered quitting without any notice?
I did quit without notice once.Anybody else ever considered quitting without any notice?
So uh what do you do and why are you quitting If you don't mind me asking?I'm making the most reckless decision of my life: resigning my current before I had a next job.
My psychiatrist is already tripling the meds she give me, and I'm not doing any better.
I just hope I can find a job before my 3 month's prior notice hit.
So uh what do you do and why are you quitting If you don't mind me asking?
you should not have given that person that much consideration, thats a facility about to burnout and collapse with no one sane left at the tilI'm an Engineer working in the manufacturing industry.
I worked 5 years in the same company, and see no future of myself.
The last Factory Manager resigned over "family issues", and the new Manager is a 30-year veteran of the company...
But he's a workaholic perfectionist micromanaging OCD that "led by example". He would work 2~3 hours overtime without pay and expects his subordinates to do the same. And he demanded all weekly or monthly reports be updated daily, and any faults would be pointed out by him with email, at midnight, as he expects you to correct it first thing in the morning. Then he demands everyone to multitask at 120% capability, just as he did. And every day, a "30-minute shift-end meeting" became a two hour berating session because "we weren't showing enough improvement".
Officially, I resign because I said I am facing depression, work pressure, no personal life, and seeing no future of myself.
The new manager's response: Depression and pressure? you shouldn't depend on medications, have you try Yoga? Personal Life? Is 1.5 days per week not enough, what do you want more?
I manage to negotiate that I extend my work for 12 more months, in exchange he keep his promise that he keep his "30-min meeting" to really 30 minutes.

she made enough poor life choices that she needs idiots like Peterson whom talk above his station for cash to lull herself awareness back to sleepWhy do people like Jordan Peterson and why does my mother want to talk politics on the way to work?
His books are admittedly dull as dirt, but he is a great conversationalist and very clear with his message. Why do people like Jordan Peterson and why does my mother want to talk politics on the way to work?
or she for the first time found someone that is saying what she had been saying all those years. "Clean up your room!"she made enough poor life choices that she needs idiots like Peterson whom talk above his station for cash to lull herself awareness back to sleep
On JP side, mind you, this is what I heard from second-hand sources, I heard Bullbuster fit the trope, though it's more a spiritual successor to Dai-Guard (aka realistic mech with mundane tech vs kaiju) than Patlabor. These last two posts has got me thinking. Especially about mechs.
Do we have a mech series/ game/ anime from Japan that depicts a mostly realistic mech battle? Think Patlabor but for the 21st century.
And conversely, have we seen Western series/ cartoons/ games that has gone the Gundam route with their mechs.
I am sorta interested in watching how these two philosophies interpret the medium in their own way. Would be an interesting watch to say the least.
I have it in my to watch list. Too many people recomended it.Has anyone watched Frieren guys?
I really, really want a season 2.
This and Tensura are TBH the only anime I've been watching religiously these last couple of years, a lot of anime are on and offs for me nowadays.
My mother doesn't understand her own economic situation. Let alone a country half a continent and an ocean away.Am I the only one with parents who don't understand the modern American economic situation?
