SECURITY ORIENTED DEVELOPEMENTS - WORLD

A long time ago, maybe? But the ones used against them in the Eighties are very different from the current ones.
You gave source codes to the missiles you sold to the people that were on their way to get shot at with them.

You did it in the 80s you would do it again.

When we sold missile to the Iraqis we didnt give either the Iranians nor the American any info said missiles.

And we sent engineers to help the Argies set up their missiles as coastal batteries as well, playing both sides properly. Point is, the British embargo means zero to us.

The Brits just had divorce with EU. Hell we would sell Argentinians stuff if they had any money to buy them with.:)

I'm told they sell some not-too-bad anti-ship missiles.
Well if France doesn't get on it the Chinese sure as fuck will

Looks like Chinese arms dealers and manufacturers just found some pretty solid job security for the foreseeable future, the absolute state of Argentinean military can only go up from where its currently at, and China is currently the only country they can get weapons/equipment from due to the UK arms embargo from 1982

Here's the follow up on that:

600 million worth of what?

Dollars? beef? zloti?

Not to mention 600 million isnt really alot for combat aircraft.

Are they looking for older airframes perhaps?

If they were smart they'd get them whether they used them or not, most people don't pay close attention to this stuff as we do, Argentina's military is shit rn (then again so is Latin America as a whole pretty much)

Even Chile? i have heard good things about their capacities.
Well other than Chile, which is a Lovecraftian Abomination of sorts I mean they basically could use the Andes as a fucking sideways tower shield that can be seen from space (although Argentina could do the same if attacked and is still overall larger with more economy/purchasing power)

Posted this in the Eastern European thread but might be better here

Seems Germany is going to buy Pigeons, which is technically understandable since it's the only plane available on short-notice these days (technically, there's also Typhoon Germany could get fast enough, but even them aren't stupid enough to consider EFT as a credible front-line fighter). Of course, this also means that France is very much likely to go alone now in developing SCAF, especially with the increased military budget to expect after the Russian military aggression in Europe. It worked for us pretty well before, no reason to think it won't now.

Well the ducky has been a pretty resounding success so far.

There is no reason to expect the next one will be any worse or will lack customers, especially now that the Russian kit has been...

How to put this delicately?

Discredited.

Yea that works, discredited.

After all you never know when you may fall out of cell phone cover range.

It will be embarrashing if your mobile GPS stops working and you get lost.
