Star Trek Picard Season 3

Watched the first Episode of Season 3. Thigs are interesting, to say at least.
Some things are familiar, others not.

As for certain Characters, i can only assume that they will only have a very short screentime. Otherwise i cannot other explain it that they so unlikeable.

I watched S03E01 because somehow out of nowhere YT has started to recommend videos about it being good.
Not really excited by what I saw. Then again this still has 9 episodes in it.

I hope it will be good, but I fear this will crush and burn.

Ok second episode down.

My opinion of the episode was an indifferent 'meh' for the solid 99% of it. They show us Worf and I was rolling my eyes knowing this like all other member berries characters will not be anything above, 'look he is back'
Then the very last minute I was pumped when Picard took control of the situation.

That was the character I know and love.

Then they ruined it with the

he is my son

No, no, no, no, no, no. That is not a motivation, for Picard, that is a moral dilemma. Picard is not driven by emotions, he is driven by doing what is right.
Not to mention the pacing that manufactures tension where there's plenty of tension already.


This show looks and feels like the Star Trek Lower Decks parody of a Star Trek Movie, the vindicta episode, but only unintentionally funny.

Ok, the episode was solid. It is a bit to earlier to make a verdict.

BTW, why does the other ship gives me a certain "Vorlon-Battleship" vibe ??

Oh, and also, with sufficient velocity, anything can be turned into a weapon. *snicker*

ep 3 out.

I have to say this episode gave us more Picard that the last two seasons combined.

I am starting to warm up to this. It may end up being quite decent.

Season 2 - The Borg Quenn is now a good one.
Season 3 - we don't have contact with the Borg for more than a decade and the Borg Queen is a baddie.
Note - the time between Seasons 2 and 3 is not a decade for sure.

I see that ST Pickard doesn't care for continuity/consistency. I'm shocked, shocked.
