The "I am listening to this song" thread

The DoTA anthem. Though the only way any hot girls are going to physically join a LAN DoTA session and not play themselves is if there's sponsors paying them during a tournament. Most people wouldn't be caught dead watching the games back then.

Urge to grow a porn moustache and to buy a granada
I see once again that you are a man of fine taste. I also only consider only cars starting with an F. Fiats and Fords ;). Then again two days ago my Fiat almost killed me. I took a turn going 160km/h plus. The car did well, it was me that almost had a heartattack.
As we on the topic of cars.
This song goes together with one of the greats in automotive history.
Peugeot 406. No it is not Taxi.

It's not quite matter of taste to me it's matter of memory. When we came to the Netherlands my mothers half sister and her significant other picked us up in a Granada station wagon (same one my older brother would buy and I learned to drive on) the guy played a lot of motown and general 70's music. Which is the first time I broadly heard 70's music. (bar Depeche mode and few others). So whenever I hear 70's music I think of that granada and me in the back looking out the window at the landscape. (which frankly changed for the worse)

Speaking of the 70's it's frankly and underrated decade. It's far from a decade of terrible fashion and shit disco music.(which i personally like unless it's the beegee's) Music wise it's actually a very varied decade that was the beginning of modern pop, rap and it was the decade that matured electronic and industrial music and gave us some of the beast soul music, etc.

Then there is the furniture and decor. I had a relationship with a tad older woman then me she was born in the 70's and was into 70's. Her entire house was decorated 70's style and having the period appliances minus the washing machine and the fridge. And you know what despite thinking shit was plain tacky, and everything to colorful. I found it a comfortable and relaxing place to be in. And some of the furniture despite suffering from the modern form follows function approach it still was actually comfortable compared to most furniture in "modern style" or remake of the 70's style with modern standards (pair of kitchen chairs she bought looked exactly like her 70's genuine kitchen chairs but didn't at all match the comfort) Also astonishing how better fucking mixers were and that old ass vacuum cleaners actually vacuum better then most modern ones I went thru.

And don't let me start on cars. They may have all been rust buckets in the 70's and slow but they were actually fun to drive and or actually comfortable. Frankly 70's and the 90's were the best automotive years. BTW if you ever get a chance to drive a 70's alfasud especially alfasud 1.2 litre Ti. Do it! It's an utter joy to drive and listen to. And absolutely stunning that it handles so fucking much better then most cars decades younger it's age.

Goddamn right! Also Ronin was a great movie.

Stunning babe in her later years with short hair circa 98 ~ 2004

Turns out this song is not on youtube...

Funny, I thought getting my music from less than fully legit sources stopped when The Wall fell.
Turns out a whole underground scene sprung up when I wasn't looking. Thank you lockdown, I guess...

:D

Soundcloud is entirely legit, as far hostign stuff goes. It's on the uploaders to make sure that stuff is legal, and it's pretty widely used by artists as second portfolio site, or the place they post work in progress tracks.

SoundCloud is excellent simply for the fact at least for i can find very rare stuff on it.

Christ, I miss my youth.

Dunno if I've shared clown core here before lol

Rare it is. When a album has no filler.

Has to be one of the most laziest and cheapest video clips ever made.

And damn that solo ! tell me it doesn't make you want to grow horseshoe moustache and 70's sideburns ?

Yeah, in recent years of mine. I started to appreciate Neil Diamond. a bit more

Are there any Australians here? I'm a fan of The Seekers, and especially of these two gems:

Never knew they were Australia. First heard them on a Megadeth album of all things.

These are the Searchers, the Australian band is called the Seekers. But nice of you to remind me of Needles and Pins, another classic I used to love.
