I am getting a solar chronometer. Seiko's speedtimer, to be exact.

This model to be exact because fuck me I can't get the one with the white dial for less than $530 at the cheapest (retail $635)

This one I got for $430...woohoo!

I'll show you guys how it looks when it arrives at home in another day or two.

I don't know the specific model by I had a 30 year old Casio g-shock handed down from my dad that last time I checked still worked. I don't like wearing watch but if I need to use it I think mereley swapping the battery (and perhaps changing the ratty cloth band) could get it working again.

Got my new watch straps and changed it as soon as I can.

Though I may swap the one on my Seiko Kinetic for a red leather strap. We'll see how it goes. Also that darn Presage seems to be attracted to lint everytime I decide to take a picture of it. *Sighs*

The name used to be an old and quite respected brand in the 50s and 60s. The quartz crisis killed them and some Americans bought the name in...I forgot if it was the 80s or 90s.

Up until the 2010s they did ok as a homage watch brand and then they went to produce those monstrocities and questionable collab watches. Though Glycine is a subsidiary of the company so if you want a Glycine watch best look for it now-ish before the owners go and ruin it's reputation too.

An Alibaba special my dad gave me. So yeah, sharap edges, hollow endlinks (more like they bent a tin can at the ends and called it good, buttons and sub dial that doesn't work and it arrived with a freaking dent on the case! (Circled it in red)

Man, I'd be better off with fakes than this stuck a cheapo quartz in some kind of pot metal and call it a watch.

Sorry, dugong just found out there are some watch he can't love. So sad, so sad.
