Happy Birthday, its Dugong Birthday, Happy Happy Birthday to you~
It's a FIAT you Philistine! I have two FIAT's a Renault, a Skoda and a Toyota. No VW is in my possession now nor ever.Dude, if you have one of these you wouldn't give a crap about Volkswagen.
No problem. So it's uses that shape for the case then? Because dude if you have an original PP sapphire why the heck are you bothering yourself with a Fiat? It's a FIAT you Philistine! I have two FIAT's a Renault, a Skoda and a Toyota. No VW is in my possession now nor ever.
I tried to find the watch I have on google images but I couldn't find the correct one. Mine has a rectangular shape two clock faces and a leather strap.
"Patek Philippe Geneve water resistant NO:712M Sapphire swiss" is what it says on the back of the watch. No problem. So it's uses that shape for the case then? Because dude if you have an original PP sapphire why the heck are you bothering yourself with a Fiat?
A PP sapphire is around $750,000 in value today. And that is after depreciation.

I know it is original but the strap is not. There is also no way the thing cost 700k it was 5-6k when new.
edit:
The front says: "Patek Philippe Geneve Swiss made"
It is a very unassuming-looking watch. Good from formal wear but not ostentatious like most.
The face is gold and the envelope(or however the name is in English) is machined stainless steel.
As for it being a fake. Meh, maybe it is maybe it isn't. It is already 20 years old and was a gift.
It is a quartz watch. Patek makes those and you can get them for 20k on their webpage. So I guess mine wasn't even the cheapest one back in the 2000s.
Well, a jeweler wanted to give me 20k Euro in 2016. He said I would get 30k if the strap was original.Could be, but here's the thing. Even a Quartz Patek still retails over $10k in the 80s.
Not pooh-poohing you but if you do got an original, good for you. They could fetch $40-$45k easy on the grey market. Just don't held your hope too high, that's all.
